Lee Parker, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and a graduate of Jackson
State University, is a man of many hats. As owner and operator of the
multifaceted company, Brimstone Entertainment, Inc., Parker has put together
an all-encompassing consultant, marketing and promotions firm that specializes
in record publicity throughout the southern region of the United States.
Brimstone Entertainment, Inc. has a history of working with artists from
many genres including R&B, rap, hip-hop, soul, blues and gospel. Parker
has successfully conducted entertainment venues ranging from artist management
to consultation and planning of special events and festivals.
With more than 25 years experience in the recording industry, Parker has
promoted more than 100 artists including the late Johnny Taylor, Little
Milton, Tyrone Davis, Marvin Sease, Bobby Bland, Denise LaSalle, Shirley
Brown, Willie Clayton, Syleena Johnson, Brook Valentine, Rena Scott, Bobby
Rush, Sir Charles, Love Doctor, Miracle, Pastor Troy, Backwood Boys, Sonny
Spoon, Doug B, Shirley Ceasar, Canton Spiritual, Rev. Chears, the Texas
Boys and many others.
Parker currently has five artists on the Brimstone roster: T.K. Soul,
Nathaniel Kimble, Betty Padget, Ricky White, Timez II and the newly signed
rap artist, King B. Parker is also the founder of the ongoing Alabama
Down Home Blues Festival held annually in Huntsville at the Jaycees Fairground
for the past 18 years.
